To: Shipowners/Operators and Master of Panamanian Registered Vessels

Subject: Minimum Safe Manning for Laid-up Vessels

 

 

  1. The Minimum Safe Manning of a vessel as prescribed in Merchant Marine Circular No.21, may be reduced when a vessel is laid-up.

  2. Application for such reduction should be made to this office, which would prescribe the manning for the laid-up vessel accordingly.
